Govein Project oficially launched
On October 1st, the Govein Project of electronic invoice began. GOVeIN is a research project funded by Connecting Europe Facility programme, with an aim to ease the adoption of the e-invoicing by public and private entities in the health sector. The project with duration of 13 months (1 Oct. 2016 – 31 Oct. 2017) and a total budget of 1.1 Mill/€ brings together the main actors related to the cross-border exchange of electronic invoice in the Public Health area, including hospital trusts and laboratories.
On November 24th, it was the kick-off meeting of the project in the facilities of the EDICOM group. There were 23 members of the consortium. During the meeting Jose Macario Rocha (project leader – EDICOM), and other members of the consortium, clarified aspects such as EU directives, consortium, financial guidelines, Time reports, CEF obligations or the implementation of the electronic invoice with the EDICOM platform. In addition, the project methodology and next steps was also treated.
